I've had trouble getting my Mallet DH pedals to work with 5:10 Kestrels.
I quite fancy the Giro Terraduro shoes.
Has anyone had any experience of using them with the Mallets ?
Any other recommendations for Mallet compatible shoes for Trail riding?
I had problems with spesh 2fo and mallets (no matter how far I screwed the pins in they prevented me from unclipping), but found kestrels work fine, I also tried the terraduro for a while, they worked but were not the right shape for my foot.
Currently if you like the shoes, I would be more tempted to try the new saint clipless downhill pedals before changing the shoes.

I'm using the Shimano AM9 (cheap from Start Fitness) and they seem to work well.
