The seals on my Wotans are past their best, so replacement is definitely due. Trouble is, I cannot seem to find them for sale anywhere.
I have read that you can use Fox seals and sponges, so I'd like to hear from anyone who's actually done this without killing their forks.

You can indeed use Fox seals.
However have a word with Mike at Magura Service UK as he should be able to supply OE ones
