Need to buy a torch, with a good strong beam and long battery life. Anyone got or used one of the new Maglite LEDs? Or used an old Maglite with an alternative LED upgrade?
Can you recommend them, or suggest better?
Any online test type things - particularly with beam shots (a bit like bike light test shots appearing in singletrack)?

I upgraded a normal aa mag to led and thought it was pants.
I hate to say it but the tesco torches are far cheaper and loads better.
