Not wasted:

8th round in the Swedish cyclocross cup yesterday, 13th place. Swedish cycloross championships today, 19th place.

Great weather, dry but around +5 degrees, perfect with a little embrocation.

Drove 400 miles today. Beautiful weather for it but would have preferred to be on the bike. Or bikes.

Did 25 miles around Haldon (a lot more interesting when it's been pi$$ing down for days) then made pink cap cakes with Mrs and Mini jruk. Very cool day.

23 miles on a circuit from Staveley big climb up to Nan Bield then a grassy hairy descent down to Troutbeck big off ripping out both brake hoses and pringerling my front wheel unable to do much now beer and Sunday lunch plus pain killers have worn off

Not wasted.
We watched our twin girls take part with the rest of the beaver pack in the remembrance parade in our village.
Me and my brother took our dad out on his new mtb for a ride round our local trails, got his bike proper sh*t up ๐Ÿ˜† Dogs enjoyed the run too.
Then went out again on my own this afternoon for another few miles.

Feeling good!

I had an epic day rediscovering flying solo, phoning my mum, doing some bad plastering, training for the Paris marathon, selling a lot of crap on ebay, having a nap, cooking yummy food and winding up a yam yam.

Still some of the day left.

I didn't waste any of it painstakingly photographing myself...

I didn't get out on my bike, but I had a great day taking my dog for a long walk, (I'd go out with using a bike but he pulls up lame in 5 mins flat due to genetic problems) Then this afternoon I took my father in law to the remembrance service. we had great weather and marched through our local town.

All in all a fantastic November day.

Rode my daughters 14" wheel 'ballerina' bike for a few hundred yards when I could no longer be arsed to drag it. Really light and easy to flick about - and fully rigid ๐Ÿ˜†

Both days over the weekend were amazing around here. Didn't waste them, 3.5 hours on the MTB on Saturday, first 1.5hrs around Chicksands with the Go-ride club I take, then off to Brickhill/Woburn to meet a mate, for 2hrs. Jnr did both too and ended up a bit knackered!

Then yesterday Jnr and I both raced CX, the OH took Jnr home so I rode the 12 miles back as a warm down. Cracking stuff.

No biking for me.

Bought new walking boots (Alt-Bergs :-)), had a bonfire, went to Remberance Service and to a 3-yr old's birthday party.

I had a good weekend ๐Ÿ™‚

8 of us popped over to Thetford for some old fashioned XC, did a couple of loops of the Red trail, sun was out, very warm, forest was lovely and ride was a good blast.

Then coffee and bacon butties after, sat outside in the sun. We actually got bothered by a Wasp in mid November, freaky weather.

For once I did not waste it - I went on a truly gobsmacking ride involving a cheeky but epic trail...

Saturday was lovely - spent it playing around at Stainburn till I snapped my chain, realised we had no quicklinks between us and it was going to get dark soon.

Sunday spun out 26 miles on the roadie to my parents for unhealthy food. I blame increased (ie some) road riding for snapping the chain. It's making me fitterer.

bloody hell postierich, braided hoses too. How did you manage that?

Wasted it ๐Ÿ™ too tired, did a bit too much during the week (commutings good and all but it shouldn't impinge on weekend riding) Did take the eldest to the park tho so not a complete write off.
