I am currently running 2x9 using a SRAM X0 9spd rear mech, does anyone have any real world experience of using that mech on a 10spd setup?
Its not the end of the world for me not to have a clutch mech as I am already using a chain device, but it would be nice to be able to save a few quid and do without the need of buying a new mech if I can get away with it.

Travelling at 10speed aint like dusting crops boy. Without precise calculations you could fly through a star or bounce too close to a supernova and that'd end your trip real quick, wouldn't it?

You need a 10spd mech for a 10spd system (there are some bodges, but none I can think of for your situation).
