Hi looking to buy a Short cage rear derailleur pref Shimano to match my shifter as i am looking to convert my bike to 1:10.
Anyone know any good deals on XTR's?

Does Shimano do a short-cage, 10-spd mech? I couldn't find one, when I was looking last year, and ended up with an XT medium-cage.

No they only do SGS (long) and GS (medium) for MTB, road ones come in SS (short) but they're not compatible with MTB 10 speed shifters.
Check Rose Bike for cheap Shimano.

I've just taken delivery of an XT 10 speed shaddow rear mech. M773 to be specific, in medium cage. Ordered in error - I was supposed to get an M772 (the 9 speed version).
