hi i'm looking for a nice 6" frame with a tapered or 1.5 headset
any ideas?
thannks
bottlerocket is travel adjustable
Intense 6.6?
1.5" headset and VPP means it will go back up the other side.
Just so happens I'm thinking of selling mine as I don't make good use of it, email (in profile) if interested.
Foes Fxr's are nice.
Nukeproof mega.
Covert 5.9 inch, tapered headset.
Nicolai Helius AM.
2 words...intense tracer. Simply an awesome bike, feels at home on anything. Especislly the rockier and steeper it gets
+1 for the tracer, but I'm bias
<fanboi>Cotic Hemlock... But run it 120mm at the back and 160 at the front.</fanboi>
Santa Cruz Nomad
Intense Tracer 2
im not to mad for the tracer as the bottom link looks flexy and i have been told it is.
anyone have/no of any frames for sale at the moment that would match what im looking for?
thanks
Giant Reign.
does the reign have 1.5 headtube?
Cove g spot 1.5" head tube, great bike had mine since new year's day and love it,
Cheers
Nick
As said above:Santa cruz nomad. Either the Alu or if your feeling really flush get the carbon.
What are you looking for it to do? I've got a GSpot too and totally love it. Goes up better than my Hustler and down as well as my STD. I wrote a few words on it when I got it... I need to update it since I've done a good few 1000km on it since then. Basically the more I use it the more I love it, the suspension works amazingly, no bob but feels plush as. It's a fantastic trail bike if you have meaty trails for it to get its teeth into.

Titus El-guapo
1.5 headtube, pedal well, great downhill and not to heavy.
+1 for the Tracer. Mine doesnt flex and the bottom (well actually both) links are a solid piece of machined alu.
Plus there's one in the forst page of classifieds right now for £750 in CRC blue......
Covert, Pivot Mach 5.7, the new Yeti (yum?!), Mondraker Dune.
Giant do seem to be getting the angles right on the Reign now.
Doesn't make sense paying RRP for a Giant frame only though because there are always so many discounted full bikes around.
Devinci Hectik? My mate has one and it's really good to ride, he's selling it if your interested (its a large size and its a tad too big for him)
Must be deals on the 575 somewhere with the SB due to arrive soon!
Cracking bike, tapered headtube, a whisker under 6" and climbs and descends well. My non tapered headtube 2009 model built up is about 28lb with sensible kit which isn't too bad!
thanks for this advice, but i cant splash out as much as id like so im looking for frames i can find second hand, or swap a scott gambler for.
i was thinking about a remedy but all second hand ones seem overpriced. plus i need a medium size.

Truth.
I bought the bike with the shock i wanted, then stripped it, sold the parts and built it up with the spec i wanted.
Worked out cheap that way. Ended up with a better bike than i started with with about the same outlay.

one the best deals out there at the mo, a highly regarded 160mm frame new for the price of used. Ticks your boxes (6", tapered headset).
Nukeproof Mega. 950 notes or 900 for the yellow. Still some left. Spend the change on cheap sherry!
Reign has a tapered steerer
i had seen that on freeborn but still a little pricey as i wana buy bars headset and mabe pedals and bb, same with the nukeproof. such nice frames though.
