Intense 6.6?
1.5" headset and VPP means it will go back up the other side.

Just so happens I'm thinking of selling mine as I don't make good use of it, email (in profile) if interested.

What are you looking for it to do? I've got a GSpot too and totally love it. Goes up better than my Hustler and down as well as my STD. I wrote a few words on it when I got it... I need to update it since I've done a good few 1000km on it since then. Basically the more I use it the more I love it, the suspension works amazingly, no bob but feels plush as. It's a fantastic trail bike if you have meaty trails for it to get its teeth into.

+1 for the Tracer. Mine doesnt flex and the bottom (well actually both) links are a solid piece of machined alu.

Plus there's one in the forst page of classifieds right now for £750 in CRC blue......

Giant do seem to be getting the angles right on the Reign now.

Doesn't make sense paying RRP for a Giant frame only though because there are always so many discounted full bikes around.

Must be deals on the 575 somewhere with the SB due to arrive soon!
Cracking bike, tapered headtube, a whisker under 6" and climbs and descends well. My non tapered headtube 2009 model built up is about 28lb with sensible kit which isn't too bad!

thanks for this advice, but i cant splash out as much as id like so im looking for frames i can find second hand, or swap a scott gambler for.
i was thinking about a remedy but all second hand ones seem overpriced. plus i need a medium size.

Truth.

I bought the bike with the shock i wanted, then stripped it, sold the parts and built it up with the spec i wanted.

Worked out cheap that way. Ended up with a better bike than i started with with about the same outlay.

http://www.freeborn.co.uk/devinci-2010-hectik-2-frameset-1

one the best deals out there at the mo, a highly regarded 160mm frame new for the price of used. Ticks your boxes (6", tapered headset).

Nukeproof Mega. 950 notes or 900 for the yellow. Still some left. Spend the change on cheap sherry!
