Need to rebuild a road bike wheel.
Anyone bought any cheap all carbon clincher rims from China/Taiwan/HK that they'd recommend?

Why 38mm!?
Unless you spend silly money, carbon clinchers have all the disadvantages of carbon rims (bad heat dissipation, poor braking, limited pressure) and none of the advantages (they weigh a ton!).
Go tubs, or go alu. IMO.
I'd definitely try the eBay rims, but only in tub flavour.

All good points but it's one of a pair so was just looking to replace like for like.
Granted, tubs are a better bet.

Derek @ Wheelsmith uses the Gigantex 38mm clinchers for builds, you could try him and see if he will sell separately or rebuild your wheels.
