I've got the older shape superlight (pre '07) and I can't find any details of the geometry for this frame, does anyone have this info?
I'm going to try running a 130mm Revelation on it, so the nay sayers should get their tin hats ready as the world will undoubtedly end as soon as I fit it. ๐Ÿ™‚
I'm currenty running a 100mm Tora 318, so if the fork is 30mm longer (neglecting increased sag) then my back-of-envelop calculations show the head angle is going to change by about 1.5 degrees.
The question is, what angle am I starting at? I guess it is fairly steep, maybe 71 degs? Should relax it nicely...
cheers
Mark

I think the geometry was unchanged between the old version and the newer curvy one. Head and seat angles will slacken by a degree or so and the BB will be raised by a half inch maybe.

I've got 130 Revs on my old shaped superlight - it's fine just do it. I went from 100mm pace forks to 115 foxs to the Revs. I could go and get the angle finder out later, but you know what the effects will be. The extra bit of 'slackness' is good, if you like that sort of thing - and they are adjustable afterall if decide that being wound out all the time isn't your thing. ๐Ÿ˜€

Sorry forgot the answer the question - IIRC the head angle on the old ones wasn't super steep or anything - possibly 69/70 ish at most. Just put them on!

There a SC forum on mtbr.com with loads of geometry stuff plus a fair few posts on longer forks for blurs so presume similar for Superlight
