Planning on heading to the Long Mynd on Sunday as the weather looks like it's going to be ace but have only been once before.

Could someone with a little more knowledge than me point me in the direction of which bits are riding well, i.e. not a mud bath as I don’t won’t to be trashing stuff for others.

Numbers from the MTB map would be much appreciated.

Unless someone can put me off, from reading previous threads, I was thinking something along the lines of parking in Church Stretton and then, 15, 14, 12, 11, along to Pole Bank, down 9, upto Hamperley, 1, 2, 4, 5, then either Minton Batch or 10?

That looks OK to me. Minton at the end of the ride is good as it can be stream like in places. Mynd holds up well in the wet so if you do get into boggy bits it won't be for long. Have fun
