Heading to Long Mynd for the first time for a day or so of exploration.

Thinking of bivvying as it looks like there could be some secluded spots with a view.

Would appreciate any advice from people in the know re bivvy potential/spot and 'must do' bits of trail.

Thanks.

the must do bits are best done during the week when there's no walkers on them ifyaknowadimean.....

Any of the knuckles or valley heads on the eastern side would be nice for a bivvy I should think. WHichever one is easier to get to after a few pints at the foot of the hill would be my choice ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks Stoner

One of the ideas of a bivvy is that we can do the 'must do' bits at 6am before thered sock brigade emerge!

Any pub recommendations?
