I tried to register for this as I have been invited to join a team but the website says it is closed now.
Just wondered if anyone has ever tried just turning up on the day and if there is any point?

Nobody really knows the full estimates but thousands of people ride unregistered on the day. It's just a road ride after all. Just turn right rather than left at the seafront so you don't go through the finish and get a bit of grief. For good karma - donate something to the BHF too.
