Had a prob with the lockout on my Fox 32's so sent them off to Mojo. Anyway, went for a sort ride today and when i got back home, an hour car journey later, the have started to intermittently lockout or not as the case may be. Now my question is, should the fork be rigid when locked out or have some slight movement. Should they lockout on with one flick of the switch or can it sometimes take a couple of on/off flicks (read that somewhere)?

Lockout on fox forks is usually very solid so you shouldn't get any movment, when they are serviced all the oil is removed from the damper and when reassembled with new fluids it can take a dozen or so full compressions to refill the damper and get the lockout working again. however if you have been out on a ride that should have been ample use to get the oil back where it should be, i would recommend you set the fork to a lower air pressure so the fork compresses easyer set the rebound to its fastest and cycle the forks 10-12 times then flick the lockout on and it should work fine. if the lockout or lack of persists it is a underfill of oil as this is what controls your lockout and you will have to add a little more.

Is the bike upside-down in the car?

If so it'll take a few switches on/off to settle the oil and whatnot for proper damping and lockout.

After that it should be fine.

Depends on how you have the lockout force set - there is an adjuster on the bottom of the right hand leg which controls this. You should read up on this - the fox website has loads of info.
