hi, i have been looking at getting a new seatpost for a while now, since i bought my ne bike. its the standard seatpost from specialized and personally i think it ruins the bike, same as this one:

i've been looking at thompson seatposts (possably carbon) does anybody have one, are they any good?
if anyone knows of any better, cheeper, quility seatposts please could you let me know,

you won't go far wrong with thomson not the lightest but will last forever, carbon wise easton would be recommended been in the game for years and make a good quality product raceface carbon post also very good.

Thomson. I've bent/broke every other seatpost i've used. i'll never buy another brand as long as thomson keep making seatposts

Thomson are the best quality posts in my view.

I would go for the Hope Eternity just to be different.

It looks damn nice, and you know it will be decent quality.

Much better looking than a Thompson IMO.

Although, should a lottery win bag me a Ti frame then a Ti post would be de-rigeur one feels.
