So my Thomson has died for the 2nd time and looking at other options. Had a Lev fail twice too so looking at a Reverb.
Frame is set up for stealth so looking at picking up a discounted stealth 34.9mm Reverb.
There's only 2 slots through the adjustable slider and I'm using both for rear mech and brake hose. Do you just use the clamps and run outside the slider?
How do you route yours?

Hi Steve,

I route the shifter and reverb through it and cross over under the shock.

The shifter comes from the left hand side and goes through the slider and I cross it to the right to go through the chainstay.

The reverb comes from the right and Crosses over and then up through the seat tube

The rear brake hose comes from the right but I've routed it underneath the toptube.

This then bends down the seat tube through the shock but be careful or protect as I had slight rubbing. Then loop it round to the chainstay.

Ps. The top tube can be a bugger to get zip ties through.

Hth

Guessing this is a 601 as it makes no sense to a 301 user ๐Ÿ™‚

I drilled my Liteville 301 for stealth, then bought replacement bolt on cable guides from here to carry the hose up the downtube. Super neat.

I've meant to buy the triple hose clips but it's just zip tied to the disc hose

Yeah, should've said 601. I'm using the top runway the mo for my Thomson dropper so will see if it'll work as you described Si.
Little trick forgetting the cable ties around the wire on the top tube is to put a sharp bend on the end of the tie then when it's over the wire you can grab the bent end.

stevied,
The cable slots under the shock sliding mount are wide enough to take two cables in each slot.
Stealth reverb hose then enters the frame immediately above the BB

Why do you need a dropper on a downhill bike ๐Ÿ˜‰

As per Ecky, you can run two cables each side of the shock mount.

This is the clearest image I have, it helps if you have the double cable clip to make the cable run neat down to the shock mount but cable ties will suffice.

... come on ndthornton, you know it's not an out and out downhill bike.

I took my 601 out on an all-day winch-and-plummet type Calderdale outing last Sunday.
Yes, I know it's totally over-biked but, as my 301 was out of action pending warranty on reverb and brakes, it seemed like a reasonable idea and proved itself quite capable of cranking up the climbs.

Ah, excellent. I did have a look and thought they looked OK for only 1 cable.
Thanks ET

I have to ride it to the top too ๐Ÿ™

stevied, don't fall into the trap of assuming you can only use the 34.9 stealth.

The Liteville factory build kit comes with 31.6 stealth and a long syntace shim that integrates with the clamp and a post-size-specific top seal to keeps everything very clean.

Yeah, I've got the shim, my old Thomson was a 31.6mm. I have gone for a 34.9mm as it means I can take the shim out and it's one less part in the mix.
Might try and machine up a nice sleeve (like the rubbery Syntace ones) to tidy things off?
Will see what it looks like when I get the seatpost in ๐Ÿ™‚

OK, brilliant. Make sure you report back on the finished product.

if you have a syntace clamp then it comes with the rubbery seal that would fit the 34 post. the reducing seals slip into it ๐Ÿ™‚

So you bought one ecky ๐Ÿ™‚

I'll have a look at what I got with the seat clamp. There was 2 seal thingies, one fits the 31.6mm, maybe the other is bigger? Great if it is ๐Ÿ™‚

Hopefully you can see mine on these photos.

You might need to zoom in.

The rear brake and reverb come from the left and split between the top tube for the rear brake.

The shifter comes from the right and then crosses under the shock once past the slider.

I run a stealth Reverb 34.9

I can't run two cables under the slider but mine is a Mk2 so not sure if there is any difference?

Good point 220si, the Mk 2 might well only have room for a single cable in each groove.
Mine's a Mk 3 that has room for two each side.
