So with things getting a bit chilly no I'm looking for a new lightweight softshell.

For the last few years I've been using what I think is the older version of the Endura Windchill jacket. This is fine but on cool but not cold days is a bit too warm.

Ideally I'm after something that will do for coller days with a merino base layer below.

any suggestions?

Ta.

Just got a gore phantom ii used it for the first time saturday. Was quite warm so i took the sleeves off and was fine then on a long descent from the cafe we ride to i put the sleeves on and was toasty all the way down. Feels like a great all seasons jacket to me i didnt use a thermal base layer either come winter i feel the jacket and a thermal layer will be all i need.

The latest Enduro FS260 is quite thin. I've got the older, thicker version and it's a good top for mid-temp days with a base.
