Pitch black, Flat out, Approching rock section....bang light goe's out.
Happened 3 times in one descent.
Anyone had this problem with Hope 4 LED?
More importantly anyone know a fix?

Sounds like a loose or broken wire/connector.
I'd give Hope a call tomorrow. They're generally pretty awesome at sorting out problems with their products.

That's one of the reasons I always have 2 on!!!!!! I'm sure Hope can sort it for you.

Yep, same here. Exactly the same issue and I nearly wet myself. Sent it back to Hope who fixed the wiring and I think they put in a new board as well. They do tell you to put some silicone lube on the battery connector, but this seems to be a standard comment.
