As above,got stranded on the A6 for half hour trying to get it to seal on my cross bike.
Screw it on too much and it closes the valve up,too loose and the air blows through the side.
I've got two of these and both of them are the same!
All on presta valves.

This maybe a longshot - but what if you don't unscrew the little knurled nut thing on the valve all the way to the end ?
