which mountain stage days are ripe for a day with beers infront of the tellybox?

stage 17 that finishes on the tourmalet?

stage 16 and 17 are the ones where the tour will likely be decided but 16 has a long run in (50 or 60 km) so might be a bit of an anticlimax

stage 9 col de la Madeleine should be good

stage 12 mende could be exciting

stage 14 has a good finish but not sure about the profile before then

also really looking forward to stage 3 basically a mini paris-roubaix style of stage

anyway watching any stage of the tour, even the boring ones, is always ripe for a day infront of the box...even when nothing much is happening i can happily waste hours just watching the scenary and 'enjoying' the commentators talk shite ๐Ÿ˜€

Even better if you can get over there! Sadly my mother has moved back from Brittany as I had some fantastic summers getting dehydrated watching stages.

IMO its not just about the stage but the whole package, sad but true I get a real buzz from the live feeds from "Le Tour" site while I'm at work
