Bought a reverb in The Planet X sale. Emailed at the start of the week asking when it would be sent out, they said it was ready for sending out and would be dispatched next day.
Email came today saying sorry but they has sold out of them.
Should have went to chain reaction!
wont be using them again.....
there's a geezer who's cross with CRC for pretty much the same reason
perhaps a support group, so some good may yet come of this ? 🙁
ahhh I noticed that the planetx site was showing 2 more stock of the 420mm 31.6 125mm drop posts than the On One site so made sure I ordered from On One on Xmas eve and they sold out quite quickly after that.
Not that that's any help. Sorry. There are reverbs coming up for sale that people have decided they don't want so worth posting what size you want.
Had a few issues myself around October time with PX with regards a bike i bought and wasn't 100% happy with but after a few telephone calls and Emails over the course of 2 weeks they eventually gave me a complete new bike which i have to say was 100% better than the original one they sent out to me, up until then i had never had any problems with them.
With regards that Email they sent you saying it was ready for dispatch i would get in touch and make a complaint or at least let them know how disappointed you are with whats happened, what you got to lose? and also had they taken payment from you? I think they will try to do something for you if you try.
I ordered the last one from PX as soon as the discount code for seat posts became active.
My order status is "held awaiting new stock".
To be truthful I noted that OO only had one left and I figured the PX stock level would be a glitch but what the hell, worth a try...
Will email them in the morning for confirmation.
just sent one back today (too long, my mistake). so they will have one in soon.
They did that to me too.... ordered when they had a few reverbs in stock.... got the confirmation order to say they were awaiting restocking!..... Wrote them an email asking why the confusion over in stock and out of stock - it took them a week to get back to me saying that they were busy and that the reverbs were out of stock..... shitty customer service and will never shop with them again!

How can I make this better?
Your chaps int he warranty dept were really quick and courteous with me a couple of weeks ago. Maybe shunt those lads over to customer service.
Had my latest order held up due to a technical issues on px's side, spoke to them twice and finally got the order put through yesterday. Was told we should get it dispatched yesterday or today at the latest, but still no dispatch email. Small beer maybe, but it's now the fourth order i've had problems with and i just would rather them be honest. A 'sorry mate, won't be dispatched till next week' is better than some bs in my book. If it wasn't for the prices i would have stopped bothering.
Talking of on one/planet x, I got my order dispatched email today for an order that arrived last week 😆
