Been riding a lot over there in the last month or so but there are a couple of trails that I am not sure the names of. Not fussed about the names per se but it does help when talking to other locals when they try to help you piece together routes that minimise path riding. I tend to ride at odd times through the week.

I know the picnic table and the knicker trails.

This may be difficult to do in writing but here goes ๐Ÿ™‚

There is one that starts flat and smooth then gets steeper and rockier before climbing slightly then dropping steeply down to the railway and ultimately out and under an arch onto the path by the avon gorge. Is that rocky horror?

Also people talk about Hoi Chi Minh. I am sure I have ridden it but just don't know the name. What's it like / where is it?

Any others?

Thanks for any help

It is Rocky Horror.

Hoi Chi Minh is the flat very worn, rutted (read ****ed) single track network that starts from the hole in the wall at North Road.

Well done if you ride the knicker, rocky horror and picnic, tricky bits of trail.

Leigh Woods is where it all started for me back in '87. I was working in Bike in Bristol and a mate asked me to take his mountain bike in for a service. I did but then went for a ride after work with the other guys from the shop after they insisted it was a lot more fun than my road bike. Needless to say they were spot on! I keep meaning to return for a ride now that I live in Surrey.

Thanks Kingtut

Yes they are prety challenging bit of trail. Wet conditions add to the 'interest' factor!

Indeed. Don't suppose anyone has been out since the rain? Is it a mudbath? Would like to take out the new full susser but don't fancy the cleaning so will stick with the ss if it's bad...

You enjoy bike cleaning? Wierd ๐Ÿ˜‰ I'd rather have more riding time, hence the ss if conditions are crap...

KT it's the NRS.

Just got back

Conditions not bad at all. Few muddy spots but largely avoidable. Bike needed just a brush down when I got back though the tyres were a lot muddier than most rides in April

I was up there today. What a fantastic place and the Bluebells are starting to bloom nicely.
