Be wary of going to Lee Quarry.
There was some bike hijacking going on last year so unless you're in a group I wouldn't bother. There was a Facebook post about it.

Hijacks could happen anywhere.
Loads of people ride through there every weekend and most days. It's stunning up there as are all the moors at the moment.
Just ride.
It’s not a no go by any stretch of the imagination. One incident is one incident; it just got some publicity.

It was open last week.
There are extra people up there at the moment, walking dogs etc, who can act as witnesses.
