My current home lights use almost 20 G4 10W bulbs and from memory are wired directly to the ring main. Will I need a Transformer to run the LEDs?

Cheers,

M.

no, GU10 holders can be connected directly to the light ring at 240v.

warm white.

I've been testing & buying GU10 LEDs for nearly 5yrs - I have over 100 in the barn.

The best ones I have found to date have been these ones

best colour and spread and price.

Thanks Stoner, but I need GU4 bulbs.

I Was going to use LED HUT unless you'd advise against it?

sorry, Im being a div.

I dont think you will find many good quality 240v GU4 LED bulbs. Its a bit of an electrical genetic deadend.

Now would be a good time to think about moving to GU10 if you can.

In that case, I ordered some cheap ones from eBay. £19 for 20.
