Mavic Stratos, @ £78. No pockets and white.

Sounds ideal for mountain biking.

RF one also got 9/10

Endura Burner Lite, which has elbow length sleeves, so is in with the SS tops. Looks a much better bet.

how can they review riding tops?
surely it's mainly about what it looks like and to some extent what material it is?
I wouldn't buy a top on the basis of a review.

I've got an endura top that I like very much. I know the stuff they're talking about (materials etc), but need a new one. Didn't know the name.
Last one was bought for me as a gift so I figure this one might be similar and just as good. And it's cheap.

The guide to suspension in the special is rubbish though. It's just a bunch of folks talking about what they like.

Did they review Ground Effect?
Did it win?

If not, ignore the review.

I've got an Endura Cairn which is bloody excellent for £19. No pockets, but most of us use a bag anyway. Nice lightweight breathable material, flatlocked seams, simple design, dark colour for mud. Perfick.

if you want cheap and decent, get a planet x road LS top, they're 20 quid in the sale, I've got a really gross pink one coming in the post to scare the motorists on the daily commute
