Large 27.5 winter hard tail?

I have a full bike of 27.5/150mm/deore parts/31.6 dropper and wanting a frame to hang out all off!

Ideally wanting nice steel - 853 or 531 would be lovely!

Had a Stanton switchback that I regret selling! Also thought about a bfe

The Stanton was a mk2

Second hand

Any other frames that fit the bill?

The Nikolai with a pinion in the classifieds.

If it was XXL, and I had a pile of cash and I needed a third hardtail I'd have that in a shot : )

The starling is beautiful but not second hand and crazy expensive in my life at the minute. I'd have to start a go fund me page for that ??

Sadly I'm an average 188cm so large frame. There is a Stanton on FB but took far away and I've not got a seatpost!!

I am 179 and on a large bfe. The current generation.  I would not want it to be any smaller. So Xl might work for you.

Came to say Pace RC627. 853, 150mm forks, 31.6 seat post? Yep, that's how I have mine set up. They're lovely bikes.

Steel is unlikely to be a big dropper post, 27.2 is still the most common size. If a steel handrail frame hasn't got too much BB drop you can probably just use a 29er frame

Steel is unlikely to be a big dropper post,

+1 from another Pace fanatic.
RC627 in large works great for me (178cm) with a short 40mm stem. On paper I should be riding a Medium, but the large world's better for me. 160mm forks, with a bit more sag dialled in.

+1 for the Piglet. Possibly the best bike I've ever had. Currently unstoppable through everything on 2.8s, previously a chuckable mad bastard of a thing on 2.4s. Built up a Marley a year or so later and it's nowhere near  as much fun.

Ragley Blue Pig - bloody great bike 🙂 just as fun on big days out as it is on nadgery gravity stuff.

Mine's set up with 27.5 x 2.8s, 150 fork, mix of 11spd Deore and Microshift. 31.6 post too.
