I'm looking at a new bike and have narrowed it down to the Lapierre (hardtail) and a Giant Anthem X2. I know the Giant gets rave reviews, but has anyone got any experience of the carbon Lapierre frame?

i know, i know.
i'm pretty convinced that i'm after a hardtail but its extra cash over and above the X2.
there was a positive review on bikeradar for the super-expensive one, but its always good to hear from other folk...
