If you have passed through here on a bike, how would you rate the experience, curious to know how much the pushing riding ratio is, as an option south to Braemar.

scrap that, just done a search, it seems it's a bit of a death march, carrying the bike.

I've hiked it in winter and it's grim. Wouldn't ride a bike there.

I've done it. Definitely not again. Have it on Strava if you're genuinely interested in timings. The descent to Rothiemurchus is excellent though, and it's not even a bad climb. I could ride that section many times again.

+1 on the Rothiemurchus end. Did it as a shortish out and back last summer - great fun.

If I were doing it again, I'd take the Geldie Burn - Glen Feshie route, but only after a long dry summer.
