Tyre - logo alignment
Lawn condition
Weeds on path
Length of front brake hose
Bench needs a varnish
Angle of cranks unsuitable for a picture

Nice otherwise ๐Ÿ™‚

Get out it's a sunny day!

we'll need pics of the other bikes if we're to assess the quiver/fleet as a throbbing, gnarly whole

(and I bet that used to be a lawn once)

Flat bars? Sure they work well but look wrong to me.

chain has been precision calibrated to reduce unnecessary unweighting, excessive slap and critical mech de-tensioning on those long, mega technical, trail centre raids.

That bench looks too big for one person and too small for two.

Headset spacers. Do you need them above and below the stem?

Nice colour frame. Bars/forks/stem etc clash a bit. Would white components look better? (As you're in the south I assume you don't have mud).

Lipseal.

It was a one-off, with a view to possibly doing a short run/special Edition, yadda.

I really like the way it turned out and has kind got me looking at pink for bikes and components.

I was thinking of a grey frame with pink components, H/S, hubs and that.

But seeing TrailMonkey's bike does make me think about my next bike build.

Some of that CK stuff in pink looks quite good.

Well done that TrailMonkey ๐Ÿ˜€

Luminous, there's an amazing looking Maverick out there somewhere with (I think) a pink floral on grey paintjob and pink Hope components. I'll have a wee hunt to see if I can find it.

Edit: .."to see if I can find a picture of it!"

I like some of that pink camo print you see on stuff.

Wonder if you could get a frame painted up in pink, white and grey camo.

*starts to think about how a pink camo bike would look*

Realman.

I should have known theres nothing new under the sun.

Good find though. Like I say, food for thought.
๐Ÿ˜‰

Edit:

I've just looked at TrailMonkey's second picture. Looks like a mini version of one of my local beer gardens.

I can see it now. As the sun sets, supping an ice cold beer, sitting on the bench looking at your new build bike after a ride.
Cool.

just took it for its maiden voyage. not liking those wide flat bars. just don't suit my style at all. oh well, i tried it. going to pop the easton monkeys back on and see how they feel.

other than that, its a bit of a thug but that should suit my particular brand of clumsy trail manners.

well done and thanks to the cycleguy, shinythings of this parish, for his patience and expertise on the build 8)
