Got this post on a s/h bike I just picked up (i.e. no warranty). Post appears to work ok, perhaps not returning quite as fast as my Reverb, but ok. It doesn't come all the way up to the top of it's travel though - there's about an extra inch available. If I pull it up whilst holding the lever it'll stay up, but won't go all the way of it's own accord.

Any tips for what might sort it? Hopefully just a bit more pressure?

Cheers,

If you take the saddle knuckle off there's a schrader valve. I cant remember the max PSi, but im sure it's available somewhere online. Try pumping it up to that and see how it goes.

Otherwise you could attempt a basic sevice/re-grease of the shaft (s****). KS posted their own video of how to on youtube.

Or send it to jungle for a rebuild ~£75 including postage back to you + postage to them, if i remember correctly.

Another thing to check is that the seatclamp isn't too tight, that could be a culprit. I do mine up to 5-6nm with a torque spanner.

Ta, will try those as should be straightforward. Seen 250psi quoted somewhere. Do you know if the cable adjustment is critical? It's using a Raceface lever for some reason, which might not necessarily have the correct cable pull.

I've only ever used mine with the KS and KS southpaw lever. Might be worth fiddling with the tension to see if it makes a difference.
