I am happy. She is happy. LBS sold a bike.

This was her first " bike bike" and after indulging me and trying a Genesis Core 10 with 650b, knew what she wanted.

26" - did they give it to her for free? Otherwise, your wife just bought a brand new retrobike! 😡

All my bikes are 26"...though one is a fatbike. And I want one of those old Cannondales with the 24" rear wheel... 
Well we know those people are idiots. I'm getting a 2nd hand 24" reptoid.
The shop man was in no hurry either to sell her a bike she didn't want.
