Anyone got one either 08 or 09 think there the same with different paint job. Are they good as a do it all kinda bike max around 5 hour rides, looking to replace my chameleon frame. I like the dropout system seems better than a EBB.

just after general info really. and if you have a frame to sell 15'' let me know like this

Only ridden one once. It was ok on the downhill.

I would not like to have taken it up any hills. partly becasue I have seen better set up you've been framed vids and secondly it was way to small. ( and I like my bikes small )

I think the chamelion is a different bike. the cowan is more DJ specific, whereas the chamelion a do it all type feel even when it was set up as a DJ bike it still felt a bit more 'all rounded' if you get me drift.

My advice is to get something like a DMR trailstar or if you can one of the old planet x compos. Even an on one 456. carfull though a lot of STW people get a little excited by on-ones so you might go blind if they aim it incorrectly.

unless your about 5foot3 then you can ignore the above..it will probably be ok.

i'm not looking for a jump bike although it would be easier if i were. just a short travel do it all, trailstar is good call. Not really bothered by cool points.

think i should try before though i don't want a tiny frame.

It's a jump bike innit. I wouldn't want to be on one for a 5 hour ride.
