Another day another ride. There were 9 riders for Knotties Sunday ride on Dartmoor & true to form I didn't get everyones name again (Doh). The STWers were Knottie, me, Anna Banana, RichPenny, Saladdodger, Gary, Ben, Kev & 'erm another bloke (sorry).

Sunday's ride started in the misty rain from Princetown & we went to South Hessary Tor, past Nunns Cross & onto Eylesbarrow mine, down Jobbers Road past the scout hut & the film set to Sheepstor village, Burrator reservoir where it started to brighten up & then the dis-used railway line back to Princetown in a headwind :o(

On the second loop the sun came out & we had 5 riders. This time we did the Widowmaker down to Nosworthy Bridge, Groundhog Day under Sheepstor then up past the film set, the scout hut, Eylesbarrow Mine into a headwind then back to South Hessary Tor & Princetown. 28 miles of fun, fun fun.

Today's posse at the start in the mist

Sounds like we missed out on another great day's riding.
Looks like Anna Banana's in her element surrounded by all those creamy Willy's at the ice cream stop.

CrispyB, 'film set'?

did i miss them filming something or is that another cryptically named trail?

Oh, you ought to have made it 33 miles and taken in a cheeky Wizard's Cuff.

Oooh, I've got my nosey nose on now Les; is that why the road was closed up there a couple of weeks ago?

You could hide a trail like 'the cuff' in any number of places within a couple of miles of your loop, I am sure it won't be swamped with newcomers. Despite doing it a number of times now, I still have trouble finding it myself sometimes!
