I ride flats most of the time and like having full length shin protection. My currents 661 pads have nearly had it and I'm really struggling to find replacements (661 do still list the ones i have but no stock anywhere). All the armour companies seem to have gone for 'enduro' slim line knee only or knee + half shin. Great for SPDs I'm sure but not what I want.
So what knee + full length shin pads are people using and are they comfy. The Endura singletrack looks like one possibility, if a little warm.
I use seperate knee shin pads ,(only on BMX) and use fuse shin pads. Comfortable for the 2-3hrs I ride in them.
Those are the sort of thing I use now. Thanks, didn't consider looking at BMX gear.
depends if you are wanting solid ones or padded ones.
I ride the rock bros knee shin pads and they are very comfy and cheap to buy.
Solis typed ones are expensive and I find them uncomfortable
Those fall into the enduro knee pad category for me as they don't cover the whole shin.
