Got out the road Bike yesterday, tried to pedal, casette span round but rear wheel didn't
move; I assume it's the hub. Is it knackered and needing replaced or is it fixable?

Havnt had time to strip or down yet but just wondering whether I should bother and just order a new hub? Assuming it's nothing to do with the cassette?

Maybe sticking pawls? If you can't tell whats wrong with it when you have it next to you then you may be asking a little much for someone on a forum to diagnose?

I'll let you know once I've stripped it this weekend. Hopeits fixable as it's an ultegra hub and would only replace it with the same or dura- ace .

ha, £20! I'm looking at a possible £110 for an XTR freehub. Reason enough to avoid shimano hubs, or at least the expensive ones 🙁
