I would have said 28.6 as that's the size of clamp on Mrs Slack's Decade Virtue, so maybe they changed the tubing gauge on the mk2 Versa's?

I've got the qr one that came off the bike spare if you wanted to try it? The bike needed a bolt clamp for security purposes, it's black and very much like a Salsa clamp, as you're probably aware.

PM me if so and I'll pop it in the post, karma ๐Ÿ™‚

And as I'll be living in Norfolk from September, I might as well start to ingratiate myself with locals! ๐Ÿ˜‰

The quick release on mine says 30 on the bottom, I bought the frame second hand and it came with. Seems to work ok.

Great frame btw ๐Ÿ˜€

Thanks Slackalice - and everyone. 30 would make sense. I'll get one ordered. Where are you going to be living Alice?

I stand corrected, I've just read my old mails when I asked Dom at Upgrade. Apologies.

Where? We don't exactly know yet! Slack jr starts his year 7 at Broadland High in Hoveton/wroxham in Sept, so hopefully around that neck of the Broads ๐Ÿ˜€

It's a nice part of the world. There's plenty of people about to help you find the most riding pleasure the landscape will allow. Very nice road riding round there too.

It is lovely indeed, I've known the area for all my life and now going to live there!

Road riding has yet to seduce me again, but as and when funds allow...
