Are you replacing all the alloy nipples?

No just a couple that have snapped recently...though at this rate I will be replacing them all before not too long!

What pressure are you running the tyres at?

Had problems with nipples/spokes breaking on both front and back wheels. Got the bike shop rebuild my rear with brass nipples after multiple fails. Had 2 spokes go ping on the front at the same time. Had a new break on the front last week - I'll be getting the bike shop to rebuild that un too!

28c road tyres at 75 psi. Have had 4 nipples go on the back and a couple on the front over the space of 2 and a bit years, though 2 in recent weeks. Had a few spare brass nips knocking around and used them to replace but have run out so need more.

So...14 gauge?

no.

And my massive powerhouse 67kg frame has managed to break nipples when cranking out the saddle and tying the bike in knots ๐Ÿ™„ . Combination of weak alloy nipples and high spoke tensions?

Wouldn't buy them again.
