I have a SPOT tracker and as I am going up without my family I will be using it to track my progress. If you want to see how it goes, at least as far as the first check point feel free to have a look as well!

If nothing else, you will get a chance to see where it actually is, assuming it all works, and I actually get round some of it 🙂
