We are out in the Peak for the weekend in the camper. Yesterday was a day of walking in rain and strong wind.
It felt good to be back out now Abigale is no longer on crutches.
Got up this morning to blue sky's and sun so after a bacon and black pudding we did an 8 mile walk around Castleton with the dog

[img] [/img]

Got back and straight out on the bikes to hit some of the classic downs. Win Hill, Potato Alley, Hag Farm, up and back down the Beast and then the long blast back to Hope

Did the Tommy's Ride round Salisbury today.

Lots of wet mud and puddles to plays out in and a good atmosphere all the way round.

Some of the views were spectacular too with all the autumn colours in full swing.

It appears the Girlfriend has caught the 'vid while we were down in England so, with no muse, (and a -ve PCR) I am reduced to taking billy-no-mates autumnal trail piccies at my 'comfort blanket' ride - Drumlanrig Castle.

PS.. GF's taste/smell is starting to come back. She was triple jagged.

No pictures, but did the Pearson Cycles Inside Out Winter gravel ride yesterday morning. Great to ride with some different people, plus somehow I’ve never been in the shop before and find it quite hard to go home again without spending money on lovely shiny things.

Also it was way less muddy than I feared it might be!

Sunday morning bimble, and feels like Autumn has finally hit The Shire (with a little help from the Saturation slider).

@singlespeedstu - we missed the Swedish Women's Volleyball team again 😉

Lots of trails gradually being cleared, but we did all the old favourites and they were amazing. Some interesting news on the 'next generation' at Ciclo with Matt's (the other guide) lad up your way currently working with DirtSchool to get his guiding qualifications.

@Alex
That's great news Aron seemed like a really nice lad and pretty handy on a bike too.
