We're off to The Lake District for a few days, staying just outside Patton Bridge. It's not an area I know particularly well: I'm happy enough in the Kentmere area over towards Ambleside, and could probably cobble together a ride round Grizedale without using the North Face trail, but that leaves vast swathes of some of the best riding in the country that we haven't done. Can anyone recommend some rides (or offer guiding) that we could consider doing on Sunday - Wednesday next? Rides needn't be marathons or epics - less than 20 miles would be ideal!
Any suggestions for interesting stuff to do on the days when it's too wet / we're too knackered would be appreciated as well!

Some fantastic riding (including Garburn pass) from Wheelbase in Stavely (and cake too at Wilfs)....and not far from you either. pop in the shop they will see you right 😀
