...anyone want anything?
Do they sell those Quorn fishless fishcakes? Morrisons have run out, and Sainsburys don't seem to stock them. If you could pick up a couple of packets that would be great, cheers.
I'll have a look! ๐
'bout 400g of carrots for carrot cake, and a coupe of ribeye steak's plz, g/f's been away at a training thing all week but now wants meat. As they served some lovely vegi stuff all week apparently but she's craving some blood - good girl!
Carrots not a problem but the meat from Asdas is sh!te, best to wait til the butchers is open tomorrow.
I know...BUT she was shouting @ me last night (down the phone) for red meat... I have some pork ready for stir fry but that "not good enough" apprently ๐ณ
No thanks. Did a Friday big shop
If they have Leffe discounted, I'll have two.
OK, be back in a bit!
*grabs keys and slams the door*
Sorry everyone, couldn't get any of the list, i just picked up the nappies and got out of there as soon as i could.
Next time.
sucks in through teeth... Is the second 'S' really necessary??? It's one of my petty bug-bears to be honest.....
DrP
perhaps he went to more than one?
I live in Bristol, be thankful i didn't call it Asdals!
Just popping to Adas then?
Zippy - how much of a hint do you need man. Just tie a ribbon round your tadger and say "how is that for meat?"
how many branches of ASDA are you going to if you are going to ASDA's?
one
ASDA's?
Pedantry fail.
so why pluralise it then?
I've been warned about this, so I'm not allowed to say "Asda's what? because it's boring.
I [s]am[/s] was an English teacher, I can't help it.
Could you pick up one of their gluten free pepperoni pizzas for me? My local Asda's stopped stocking them ๐
Zulu's were fine there thanks, no need project your own inadequacies ๐
I'll probably go to Tesco's instead mate, i'll keep you informed.
the butcher's [shop], the baker's [shop], Arkwright's [shop], Asda's...
The first two examples are fine as they belong to the butcher and baker. Asda is singular and such you would say going to Asda or going to x number of asda stores. No matter whether it is plural or belonging to it needs an apostrophe.
Yawn!
it is pissing it down, i am stuck inside bored shitless. Don't take it persoanlly ๐
It just reminds me of my brummy inlaws ๐
I just returned home to find I'd left the freezer adjar slightly...so I have a full dustbin. So fill a trolley in the freezer section please ๐
