[#8173115]

Just nipped out at lunch to give the chain a rub. As the weather has been a bit damp this week. Then noticed frames bust....
RIP to my T5 crosslight after 6 years of commuting duties.
I was wondering how long it could go. And come to think of it, it felt a bit odd this morning coming in to work.
So now I do have an excuse for something new!

Ha! Did you send me an email, teasel? Couldn't find your address in your profile.

I rode mine in yesterday, because it's got mudguards. I didn't die. But it's still too small, so now I'm thinking again of a frame swap.

I should be able to limp the short way home. very slowly.
Give it time to sink in that will be the last time i ride it. It was my very bestest most favorite bike.

I should make it available really. But I'll send you an email if you're interested...

I am!

Thanks so much for the offers, especially the randonneur - that's a bit of a classic, from what I've read. Thanks teasel, could you drop me an email, please? no email in your profile, but mine's in mine.

Don't know what you want for it, though?

marrv - sorry for thread derailment - I posted something very similar last week: http://singletrackworld.com/forum/topic/whats-that-creak-oh-bugger

There's a few offers of bikes in there, but it sounds like you might have more upmarket ideas!

Ha ha. No worries. I wish.
Cant afford anything like that again. Also cannot take it into work where it is safe. I will be using my 24 year old floppy 531 fixie for now. I doubt that will make it to christmas!

Ah, nuts! Mine made it to 25, so yours might have a few more months yet.

Ah, sorry, I missed your reply. I'll mail you later or tomorrow and maybe take some pics for your perusal.

And no cost. I just wanted it to go to a good home, one where it'll get used, so you look like an ideal candidate. I don't know how much you know of the frame but it has a little spoke holder that still has a spoke, which is quite a nice touch!

Lovely frame.

Edit : Also sorry, Marv. ๐Ÿ™‚
