A bunch of us stayed at the Dales Bike Centre over the weekend, and I dragged the camera round and took a few pics. I was impressed how easy it was to point a camera at something, anything, and get a good shot in that part of the world, so I'd like to share.

Also, the Dales Bike Centre: Just go there. Quite easily the best pace I've ever stayed when MTBing, great food, good advice and banter with the guys there and a great night ride on Friday too. We were all made to feel very welcome indeed and we shall be returning. Totally recommended. ๐Ÿ˜€

We drove up from Farnborough, Gary (3rd pic down) came up to ours first from Southampton.... ๐Ÿ™‚

The weather wasn't too shabby either! Cold and brezzy but dry and bright.

Nice shots. It looks almost "big country" in a couple of those. ๐Ÿ™‚

Martin, I was only wearing a base layer merino and a softshell, 3/4 tights and waterproof baggies, but it was very cold on the tops, and very windy too.

Fantastic pics. I've been leaning more towards the road bike of late but these shots remind me that mountain biking is best!

Funny how the camera lies though, that last shot of 2 pushing up Fremington Edge makes it look like they should be riding, I know how steep it really is!

I was in the Dales this weekend awesome.

I have a high body temp and were all different like but I couldnt wear that stuff Peter, I would set on Fire ๐Ÿ™‚

I worse a cycle jersey, gillet, shorts. I had arm warmers on for 30 mins until I warmed up and then they came off!

I love Swaledale its great biking and great friendly atmos alround, Fremington Edge being my fave ๐Ÿ™‚

Err, we had a mate who knows the are well. He had routes on GPS, but we chopped and changed them as time went on.

I believe the Dales Bike Centre chaps have maps available, so maybe email them, and I'd recommend joining them for the Friday night ride too.
