I have finally got the bottle back for jumping after a long while of not jumping and I was playing the video back at slow time. I am putting this video out there of the jump for all to scrutinize.

Is there anything I could do to improve my landing, it felt comfortable enough (that's what 170mm of travel will do) but I noticed that my heels weren't down on the landing, I don't know how much this affects the landing? Angle wise looked okay for the ground I was landing on (slight slope down) but any constructive criticism is welcomed, cheers.
Toes should be down for landings. If heels are down you'll have a tendency to have the front end too high I'd have thought. Landing back wheel first is a no-no, maybe not so bad on a flat landing though. Either way, toes should be down I believe. That's what Jedi taught me on jumps anyway.
Here's a photo of me on my training day. Note toes down, particularly on the back foot. Front foot is probably a bit more level, but certainly not heel down.

Don't pull the bars up, push them away from you on the ramp. That's what Jedi taught my mate and what he then taught me on jumps anyway
Looking at the video in slo-mo shows me to be doing pretty much that. Obviously a complete natural at this malarky ๐
Good. You shouldn't have to think about that bit. Apparently most people will naturally point their toes at the ground anyway, as if their feet are searching for terra firma. We ain't meant to fly!
+1 rickos
See, I still remember after more than 2 years!
