Im after a seatpost but dont want to need to fix it every month. Does anyone have experience of the joplin 4 with the lever under the saddle? seen one for £119.

I'd get a remote, it's quite a feat of balance to take a hand off the bars and reach down between your legs just as you hit a steep rock garden or drop!
My Joplin 4 is better than the Mark 3 I had previously. Still has some rotation to it, and ideally needs a boot in the winter. Fairly easy to service, which you will have to occasionally.
