Trying to get some basic shimano 9speed compatible jockey wheels for my slx mech. ie LX, deore or similar range

just about everywhere I look online they seem to be out of stock - WTF?
has there been a run on them? is everyone going for 10speed/sram now?

can any of you good folks enlighten me? thanks

Last set I ordered were some 'BBB' cartridge bearing ones from dotbike.com, these were for a SRAM x9, but they do them for shimano too. 13 quid delivered next day...

Are 11t jockey wheels for Shimano actually all different as the CRC site would suggest?
I've mixed 11t XT/105/Tiagra without issue. And aftermarket ones are just sold as either 10 or 11t.

Ribble have Tacx 11t for £6+

possibly same problems the UK factories for the Japanese car makers have got with not being able to get any supplies from japan after the earthquake?

oldgit - I believe the spindles are different diameters - the aftermarket ones us a selection of inserts to adapt so one size fits all

I've struggled with lots of things for my new build

Bars, 29" tyres, forks, Hope 'pick n mix' headset, etc.

loads of stuff out of stock everywhere, & as for those sites that claim to have stock and take payment for it only to try and sell you a 3 week wait ............. 😡

Its was the same earlier in the year, LBS's basically only carried Deore's, and my pal struggled getting the right SRAM ones.
