For some reason I read this as "MR James, are they for real". If that had been the case, this would have been a much more interesting thread.

The bike _was_ real, a hundred years ago. Don't buy it. Something very bad will happen if you do.

Last Year bought some specialized triathlon shoes at a bargain price. Nowhere else had stock since they were an old model, so assumed they wouldn't appear and a it was an error on the website. They arrived a couple of days later, so was very pleased.

Dealt with them a few times, albeit some time ago, and didn't have any issues. Probably best to ask them?

They sorted out a broken Cube on warranty a couple of years back. Seemed like a nice and efficient bunch.

Had a delivery today of some spokes ordered on boxing day. Happy with that.

Has the bike sold out then since the email sent?

I've bought a good few things from them this last year - cheap, quick delivery, not an issue.

That bike says it’s a special order item so call them and see what the crack is.

Makes lots of sense to email then - "there's a new bike available that you might be interested in. Here's some information about it. It's special order so give us a call to find out more".

In other words advertising 101. People aren't going to be in the sales cycle to purchase if they aren't aware of its existence

They’ve been trying to shift those Bianchi things for ages now, even at £1k they are not going.
