Me and my lad did a whopping 6k this afternoon on our first MTB ride.

Proud dad moment.

We even Strava'ed it.

Good work! 6k is no mean feat. Took my 7 year old on the blue run at Coed y Brenin at the weekend for his first taste of "proper" mountain biking. After skinning his knees on the first hairpin he got the idea (brake earlier ๐Ÿ˜‰ ) and completed the route. It's great to get out with the kids ๐Ÿ™‚

I give it ten years before him giving you a thumbs up turns into giving you the finger.

My lad did me proud today, he'll be 6 in July, rode into Leeds and back along the canal today. 6.5 miles each way! Nailed the hill at the end up to our house as well. ๐Ÿ˜€
