We are preparing an itunes playlist for our wedding and there is great danger it could turn out to be a 90s Indie disco, so could you please help suggest some tunes that should be considered.

Nothing from Grease, Come on Eileen, or Jive Bunny!

Thanks

Motown, then some more Motown

In my experience nothing gets a wedding going like a bit of Motown

The Cult's She Sells Sanctuary was a floor filler at ours (not with the middle-aged folk though, but then not a lot was!).

Always look on the bright side of life ๐Ÿ˜‰

Cannonball: The Breeders

Wake up Boo: Boo Radleys

Riverboat Song: Ocean Colour Scene

Hobo Humpin Slobo Babe: Whale

Saturn 5: Inspiral Carpets

Now I feel all milky eyed and nostalgic, off to raid Spotify...

Posting to save this thread for later. I'll post up our wedding playlist when I get home which might help. I spent a very enjoyable fortnight listening to our entire music collection & whittling it down to 6 hours of fitting tunage.

Get a DJ instead, I went to a wedding with an iPod playlist once and it was abysmal.
