I've just picked up a Saracen Mantra 24.4 for my eldest and it comes with Small Block 8's, no doubt cracking tyres for dry and dusty summer trails.

I reckon I'll ghetto tubeless it, so what slightly more gnarly tubeless capable 24" tyres for a 6 yr old on a 24" wheeled bike please.

Rocket Rons.

Ah tubeless? I think we had the cheaper 'performance' ones but the rims weren't tubeless so I can't comment on how well they would run tubeless.

btw - I rode the wembo course, and it was very tough for an endurance course. Throw in the rain and conditions you all had, and....well, massive respectย  to all who raced.

Both my kids are rocking on Schwalbe Blackjacks, chunky tyre yet cheap.

Lewis had rocket ron's, kenda kinetics and hutchinson toros all set up tubeless.ย  The toro's were the best of the 3.

I've one Performance Rocket Ron (the new Addix ones) tubeless on a tubeless-ready rim. ย It took a fair amount of sealant though.

I planned to get some 2" Hutchinson Toro's for my daughter's bike, they come in 24x2.0 only and there's a tubeless version available as wee but I can't seem to find them anywhere at present and She's been a bit too busy to ride lately so the Summer tyres are still fitted.

They look reasoanble as a kids wet weather tyre narrow enough to cut into mud and reasonably spaced knobbles, without being big chuny draggy things plus the tubeless option really appeals from a grip and comfort point of view...
