Bike stand. You'll wonder how you managed without one. Mine was £30 from Lidl. So buy the carbon handlebars as well.

nicest thing anyone has ever said to me ...

Thanks for the bday wishes

Is the bike stand worth getting a tray attachment? Sounds like a winner but can't think straight with this hangover. Hands sweatin' white face and power vein throbbing in my neck. Not sure about cider and never heard of the other

Bike stand and a torque wrench would be my choice.

RaceFace SixC carbon AM bars, 725mm. About a hundred quid, love 'em.

Hangover cure, £1 bag of frozen peas when you're picking up you £30 bike stand, that'll finish of those dying brain cells.

Happy Birthday.

I'm of the view you should spend it on something a little high-end, as useful as a £30 bike stand is that's hardly going to give you a warm glow each time you look at it.

Fancy bars, stem, headset, seat clamp, skewers ...

It's your birthday, you don't need an excuse to leave early, your birthday is a legitimate reason. Next year take the day off and go riding.

Thanks guys and happy bday Swede

I'm finished for the day now and propping up the bar, hangover has been replaced with a raging thirst and a need to be disappointed with Prometheus at the flicks

Bikes out of service due to lack of bb press for equipment but picking it up tomorrow on my day off. Ordered workstand no2 on my list. Speaking to a chap on ebay about some Easton havon carbon bars - £70 nearly new but been cut to 700mm so not sure

ALSO bought a laidback elite as masterpiece is just silly money. I think the mrs has bought me a cycling weekend away, a chain and some other exciting stuff - cant think why I've got no mates?
